Bot PMs? - SGN

can we limit PM to people with at least 20 posts or something? not a huge deal but the bots are going to keep at it... or is fourmTeam ligit? I just delete them.

No settings in the admin I can find, so it'd need to be a custom thing. For now I've turned on manual registration authorisation again.

For the record, can everyone please take a look at the user before they hit report? if it says BANNED under their name, you can assume we've dealt with it and probably don't need you to report the PM again

If it was that bestforumteam jerk, I actually don't understand how he could have been able to post/send PMs, he registered after I turned on manual authorisation.

Urgh slight problem, new members can send PMs before they've even replied to their authorisation email. Yeah, testing123 is me, and well, it can't post, it's waiting authorisation, but it can send PMs. Bloody hell, VB really dropped the ball on this one.

Unfortunately there's fuck all we can do for the time being I'm afraid. Just keep reporting it if they're not banned by the time you notice the messages.

I've filtered a few more terms so it's slightly more effort to pick a forum name that isn't a default spam combination - but this is all pissing in the wind against the problem.
