Reserved for when I add sections. Aliens first; as I hear they are the worst of the 3 campaigns.

The Aliens - Single Player:

Whilst the Aliens are one of the iconic species in the game title; they do not quite live up to expectations. Controlling the killing machines can at times get annoying. This may be because I had auto-transition turned on; meaning that any wall I ran into was climbed upon, causing the camera to tilt and readjust. Whilst handy on escape runs after being caught out, when trying to stealth up to a target it became frustrating as the target would be lost after leaping from one wall to the other.

The alien campaign, can be described like a beautiful young, blonde woman. Excellent to look at, but theres not much there to engage with. In the case of the Alien campaign - the entire idea behind the campaign is to kill pretty much everything that gets in your way. Human, Predator or Android. At any rate, it makes for a sub-standard campaign with no real story line, bar obeying what the Queen tells you to do. This is an unfortunate arrangement, as it is precisely how an alien would work - a single entity obeying the will of the hive mind. It just doesn't engage as well to the player.

Predators - Single Player:

The Predators have an advantage over the Alien campaign - there is an actual story. The Predators play at first with a large degree of difficulty. They're not the humans - who can blast everything until it stops twitching. They're not the Aliens, who are lightning quick. No - the predators are the thinking race. They wear no armour, so can't take horrific amounts of bullet fire; but are naturally tough enough to get stuck into the thick of it with their claws - when necessary.

Strategising, luring the human or androids into traps and leaping about the high-points are all part of the Predator experience and for the most part work very well. The weapons are easy to use, the GUI resembling the Predator hunting mask interface from the movies. The only one that takes a bit of getting used to, is the 'leap' mechanic. You are required to look around whilst in Focus Mode until an icon appears. Pressing jump when this icon is on screen results in the Predator leaping to the point - however, when under massed fire/claw strikes; it does get difficult to escape. The cloaking device is a handy feature, but can't be relied upon too heavily. The xenomorphs (or Serpents, as the Predators call them) see straight through it, whilst the human motion detector invariably puts them on guard and on your case.

The weapons available to the Predator all have their uses - the awesome Plasma Caster, a long range quick, unaccurate shot or charged and target locked for greater damage. The Disc - follows the line of your targetting system before riccocheting off of everything and returning. A nifty weapon, can be used to cut several enemies down. The Combi-stick; a slow but heavily damaging thrown weapon and the Trip Mines. Great for luring enemies into traps.

The only down side to the Predator campaign, whilst incredibly fun - it lacks character for those who aren't part of the hardcore Predator fandom. If you crave characters with names and emotion, this campaign isn't for you. If, however, you enjoy playing the honourable race of hunters; this one most deffinately is for you.

campaigns? its more of a 'now u are here... now u are here... now u are here...' Feels like a bloody ork WAAAGGHH.

To be honest i expected it to be a little better than this. I mean, two basic attacks for each unit plus special weapons for humans and predators is just pretty bland, feels like this game was made in 2k10-10
